Class 5 Truck and Trailer Combination Vehicle

Job description will include but not limited to :-

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Keep a log of their activities
• Follow all applicable traffic laws
• Make sure that all loading documents are in order
• Documents and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size , weight , route desgnations , parking and break periods ) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Keep the truck and associated equipment clean and in good working order
• Inspect the truck and trailer before and after the trip and record any defects that they find
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions
• Report defects , accidents and violation
• Have a good work ethic , honest , reliable , willing can do attitude , team player and punctual
• The applicants need to be medically/physically fit for the job as there will be strapping required including chains sometimes to ensure load is secure
• Ability to Drive Road Ranger/Manual/ Automatic gearbox units confidently
• At Least a years' experience of truck driving is desirable
• Wash and clean the trucks on proposed days
• Be able to stay away from home as there will be linehaul work available and ready to stay away from home weekends or 24 Hours Breaks as well 

Hours 40 minimum per week (maximum 50 hours)

Class 5 driver licence is required or equivalent overseas driver licence, DG and forklift licenses required
Be able to pass a criminal background check
