About the Role
Night n Day is a well-established convenience store brand operating 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week, providing essential retail and food services to customers at all hours. We are
seeking two retail supervisors at Masterton.

Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Providing friendly and efficient customer service at all times
Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash, EFTPOS, and card
transactions accurately
Assisting customers with purchases, enquiries, and product information
Replenishing shelves, chillers, and display units to maintain full stock levels
Monitoring product expiry dates and rotating stock using FIFO principles
Preparing and serving simple food and beverages as required
Maintaining cleanliness of store areas including counters, floors, shelves, and
customer spaces

Assisting with receiving, unpacking, and storing stock deliveries
Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Assisting with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash handling tasks

Strong communication and customer service skills
Friendly, reliable, and honest attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
Good teamwork and time management skills
Qualifications and Experience
No formal qualification is required
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential
On-the-job training will be provided
Mandatory Requirements
Must be willing to work a rotating 24/7 shift roster, including overnight shifts
Police clearance required
Drug test required
