Sales Manager (2 positions – one in Auckland and one in Wellington)- Car Dealership (Auckland and Wellington) 

We are an established and growing car dealership in Auckland and Wellington seeking an experienced and driven Sales Managers to lead our sales operations. This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term stability and career growth.

 

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the dealership achieves its sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily sales operations of the dealership
  • Supervise and support sales staff to achieve performance targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management
  • Assist customers with vehicle selection, pricing, and negotiations
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
  • Manage vehicle pricing, promotions, and sales campaigns
  • Coordinate with management on stock purchasing based on market demand
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant New Zealand regulations
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in automotive sales or a similar role
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand automotive market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Target-driven with the ability to work under pressure
  • Full driver licence preferred
