Description

Rui's Decorating Limited is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team working on commercial interior projects across Auckland.

Pay Rate:
$29.66 – $33 per hour (depending on experience). This is a fixed hourly rate. No commission or bonus-based pay applies.

Minimum Guaranteed Hours:
Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed.

Job Location:
Various commercial construction sites across Auckland, New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out commercial carpentry work across active construction sites
  • Install, fix, and prepare GIB boards
  • Perform GIB stopping, finishing, and detailing
  • Complete interior carpentry including fit-out and remedial work
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Work alongside site managers and other trades
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and productivity

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant carpentry work experience (including GIB installation and stopping)
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and finishing standards
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good work ethic and reliability
  • Site Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Own basic hand tools (if required)
