Alliance is a world class food company, producing the finest quality free range grass-fed lamb, beef, venison and co-products.
  
THE ROLE
As the site's Rendering Supervisor (dayshift), you will run the daily rendering processes across the department. Reporting into the long-established Production Manager, you will be a natural leader, keeping your team of 40 enthused, safe & running the department efficiently.
  
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience leading food production teams (ideally meat)
  • Preferred trade qualification & background
  • Natural problem solver & mechanically minded
  • Previous wins in lean manufacturing/ CI
  • Skilled in mentoring & developing the team
  • Professional understanding & regard for H&S
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Process control capability
  • Current New Zealand Work Rights: Resident/ Citizen / Work Visa
Supervisors from a similar processing background, such as milk powder manufacturing or rendering operations will be well suited to this role but I am open to receiving applications from diverse processing backgrounds
