You will be working in a busy collision repair environment on insurance-job volume. Modern cars with high-strength steel and alloy panels — not just bash and bog. Day to day you will be across:
- Pulling out damage and replacing panels on collision repair jobs
- Straightening chassis and frames on modern frame machines
- MIG welding and filler work to production standard
- Working on modern vehicles including high-strength steel and alloy panels
- Handing clean, quality work off to the spray painter on every job
- Trade qualification in panel beating or collision repair
- 3 or more years in a commercial smash repair shop
- Confident, clean MIG welding at production speed
- Experience with frame and chassis machines
- Full clean driver's licence
- NZ citizen on a 444 visa, ready to fly within 2 weeks of offer
