We are a fast-growing company needing one senior Digger/Excavator as a team lead for the construction projects. We are an earthworks company with increasing numbers of major residential construction projects ongoing in Auckland, and the role will have significant importance to our business.

Main job duties:

·         Leading the team in operating and monitoring excavators to load and trim construction materials and earthworks in compliance with Health and Safety policies; applying extensive experience to manage complex tasks in challenging project environments.

·         Make sure the vehicle and excavator shall not damage any services, manholes or neighbour’s driveway or any properties; if accident happens, you need to report to the supervisors or site managers.

·         Ensure keeping eye contact with supervisors or truck drivers while operate the excavator

·         Make sure starting the work in compliance with Health and Safety Policies;

·         Doing all necessary paperwork to complete your work including excavator worksheet

 

Key requirements for the role include:

·         At least 4-year relevant experience in the role.

·         Be available to work flexible hours;

·         To pass drug tests and a police check

·         Hourly rate ranges from $35 to $40

·         Minimum Guaranteed hours 35 per week
