Champion Holiday Limited is an established accommodation business offering motel stays, function facilities, and conference venue services. We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Officer to grow occupancy, expand conference/event bookings, strengthen brand awareness, and build long-term relationships with tourism and corporate partners.

This role is ideal for someone who understands hospitality marketing, customer acquisition, and partnership development, and who can deliver practical marketing strategies that generate measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:

  • Researching local and international tourism trends, accommodation demand, seasonal booking patterns, competitor pricing, and customer preferences to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing marketing plans to increase motel occupancy, direct bookings, repeat guests, and conference/event venue reservations.
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with travel agencies, inbound tour operators, corporate travel planners, relocation companies, event organisers, and other referral partners.
  • Promoting motel rooms, group accommodation packages, meeting rooms, and conference venue services to corporate clients, government organisations, community groups, and private event customers.
  • Coordinating advertising and promotional campaigns across digital platforms, travel booking channels, print media, tourism publications, email marketing, and social media.
  • Advising management on pricing strategies, promotional offers, seasonal packages, conference hire rates, and market positioning to maximise revenue.
  • Monitoring online booking platforms, customer reviews, and market feedback, and recommending strategies to improve customer satisfaction and conversion rates.
  • Preparing marketing budgets, campaign schedules, occupancy reports, and return-on-investment analysis for management review.
  • Creating and updating promotional materials including website content, brochures, photography briefs, event packages, conference collateral, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Coordinating with external suppliers such as website developers, photographers, printers, media agencies, and tourism organisations to support brand promotion.
  • Assisting with sales initiatives including lead generation, quotation follow-up, conference enquiries, corporate account development, and repeat booking programs.
  • Organising familiarisation visits, open days, networking functions, and promotional events to showcase accommodation and venue facilities.
  • Ensuring all marketing activities are consistent with company branding standards and delivered in a professional and timely manner.
  • Analysing campaign performance, website traffic, booking sources, and customer data, then recommending improvements to increase revenue and market share.

Skills and Experience Required

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field; OR
  • At least 2 years of sales or marketing work experience.

Applicants should also demonstrate:

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience in hospitality, accommodation, tourism, events, or service-based marketing preferred
  • Ability to negotiate and maintain commercial partnerships
  • Good understanding of digital marketing and booking platforms
  • Strong organisational and reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
