We are Auckland based company and looking for full time Truck Drivers to join our team. We are seeking a confident and engaging individual with strong people skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to manage pressure while maintaining a calm and professional presence. The start and finish of work will be in Auckland and will be working throughout Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay and Wanganui. However, you need to Your Working hours will be minimum of 30 hours to maximum 35 hours from Monday – Sunday as per the roaster.

 

Job Description for Truck Driver:

 

·       Ability to operate company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.

·       Driving within speed limit of 90km/hr and wear seat belt while driving.

·       Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

·       Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions.

·       Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazard conditions.

·       A sound understanding of Health and Safety along with the logbook requirements.

·       You should carry out routine checks of your truck.

·       Able to work on rotation shift – day and night (24 x 7).

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

·       Should have at least one year of relevant driving work experience

·       Should have clean New Zealand driving license Class 5 or equivalent driver license.

·       Manual gear box knowledge.

·       Must be physical fit.

·       You may require driving on weekends and public holidays.

·       A positive attitude and a great work ethic

·       Clean Character Background

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $29 to $35 per hour.
