Long Team Healthstar Limited is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role involves operating forklifts to safely transport, load, and store goods in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift Drivers operate machinery to move palletised goods, containers, and materials in warehouses and similar environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, stack, and transport goods
  • Move materials to designated storage areas
  • Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and report faults
  • Assist with stock control and inventory processes
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Typical tasks include stacking/unstacking items, transporting goods, and monitoring equipment performance.

Minimum Requirements 

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience, OR
  • A Level 4 qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF)
  • Valid forklift operator certificate/licence 
  • NZ Class 1 Driver Licence (preferred; F endorsement advantageous)
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
