Our client is a well-established residential maintenance and renovation business on the Sunshine Coast. They do premium finish work only, no new builds, no cutting corners. They need a Senior Painter who takes genuine pride in their craft, can run jobs independently, and wants to put roots down somewhere worth living rather than chasing the next short-term contract.

The Role

You will be working across premium residential renovation and maintenance jobs on the Sunshine Coast. This is not production painting. The work requires a genuine eye for detail, an ability to run jobs from start to finish, and the kind of finish standard that high-end homeowners expect and remember.

Day to day you will be:
  • Delivering high-quality finishes across gloss trims, timber restoration, and high-level ceilings and walls
  • Running jobs independently and taking full ownership of quality from prep through to completion
  • Working across a variety of residential renovation and maintenance projects with no two jobs the same
  • Representing the business on site with professionalism and an easy-going attitude
  • Occasionally leading or working alongside other team members as required
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, with occasional Saturdays during busy periods.

What We Need
  • Trade qualification in painting, this is non-negotiable
  • White Card, must hold or be willing to obtain before starting
  • Full driver's licence, essential for this role
  • Clean police check required
  • Proven senior or leading hand experience in residential renovation and maintenance painting
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver premium finishes, gloss trims, timber restoration, and high-level work
  • New-build-only backgrounds will not be considered for this role
  • Easy-going, reliable, and genuinely looking for long-term stability, not a stepping stone
