Job Advertisement: Facilities Manager – Warehouse Operations

Location: Auckland 
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $32 – $35 per hour
Hours: 30–40 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated Facilities Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, manages, and directs the strategic and day-to-day operations of warehouse facilities to ensure all physical aspects function efficiently and effectively.

  • Create and sustain safe and productive environments for staff and operations.

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance.

  • Manage inventory control, storage, and movement of goods.

  • Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate workflow across teams.

  • Maintain warehouse facilities, equipment, and safety standards.

  • Implement and monitor operational processes to optimise productivity.

  • Liaise with procurement, logistics, warehouse and management teams for seamless operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as administrator /assistant administrator/similar role Or a relevant Diploma qualification may substutute the work experience requirement. 

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures would be an advantage.

  • Ability to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
