About the Role:
We are looking to hire 3 Carpenters to join our growing team. In this
role, you will be primarily responsible for the construction and
building of residential houses.

Employment type: Full-time Permanent role

Hours of Work:
- A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 60
  hours per week, Monday to Sunday.

Remuneration:
- Pay Rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
- Wages are paid on a monthly basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Interpret and comprehend architectural drawings, blueprints, and
  construction plans.
- Establish work procedures by calculating necessary dimensions and
  estimating material requirements.
- Organise the sequence of tasks, select appropriate timber and
  supplies, and set up project layouts.
- Accurately cut and shape building materials to exact sizes
  utilising various hand and power tools.
- Join and secure components to build structural frameworks and
  interior fixtures for buildings.
- Construct essential building elements, including roofing systems,
  window frames, interior walls, partitions, stairs, and sub-flooring.
- Fabricate and fit staircases, doors, window casings, and fascia
  boards.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations on existing wooden
  structures and fittings.
- Construct temporary concrete formwork as needed on site.
- Handle supplementary building materials, such as metal components
  and plastic laminates, when project requirements dictate.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, OR a Level 4
  relevant qualification.
- Works seamlessly with others and follows established protocols to
  ensure project success.
- Committed to hard work and physically prepared for the rigours of
  the role.
- Applies a keen eye for detail to resolve issues with common-sense,
  effective strategies.
- Approaches every task with enthusiasm and a results-driven attitude.
