Days required: Monday to friday
Hours per week: 30 to 35 hours per week
Hourly Pay: $30-$35 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and caring Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator to join our team. The role involves providing quality education and care for school-aged children before and after school, as well as during school holiday programmes.
You will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging educational and recreational activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, planning, implementation, and documentation of educational and leisure programmes for school-aged children in line with an approved learning framework

Support children through daily routines, transitions, and structured/unstructured activities

Ensure the safety, health, and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors at all times

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and fellow educators

Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, excursions, and meal times

Ensure compliance with OSHC service policies, procedures, and relevant legislation/regulations

Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and inclusive learning environment

Observe and report on children’s development and behaviour
Skills & Experience Required

Relevant qualification at Level 4 or above in education, childcare, or a related field OR at least 2 years of relevant experience

Previous experience working with school-aged children in an education or care setting preferred

Sound understanding of child development and learning frameworks

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

A responsible and caring attitude with a strong focus on child safety
