Our pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
We are a construction company based in Auckland. We are now looking for 1 project manager to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.
Tasks you may carry out:
· Interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation requirements
· Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
· Constructing and installing structural frameworks, including wall framing, flooring systems, and roof components
· Fabricating and installing joinery items such as cabinets, wardrobes, doors, windows, staircases, and interior fittings
· Installing built-in furniture, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with design specifications
· Carrying out finishing work, including trimming, sanding, and adjustments to ensure precise fit and high-quality appearance
· Repairing, maintaining, and renovating existing wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures as required
· Selecting appropriate materials and ensuring consistency in grain, texture, and finish where required
· Ensuring all work complies with New Zealand building codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards
· Inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
· Coordinating with other tradespeople and team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
To be successful you will need to:
· Have at least three years solid relevant experience, OR
· Have a relevant NZ Level 6 qualification
· Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
· Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
· Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
· have "can-do" attitude
