Full time permanent Female Hairdressers/barbers is required for a female barber business operated by a female owner in Auckland. The minimum work hour will be 32 per week and the maximum will be 48 per week. The minimum wage is $28.00 ph and the maximum wage will be $40.00ph. Overtime payment will be $45ph. New Zealand citizens or residents will be getting extra credit.

•    consult with clients about the style and cut they want
•    cuts, trims, and styles hair or hair pieces according to clients wishes.
•    shampoos, conditions, and dries hair, and applies other products to hair to aid in straightening, curling, or styling.
•    remove hair using permanent and temporary methods (e.g. electrolysis and waxing)
•    apply hair products, like serum, cream and clay to style hair
•    wash, cut, colour, style and blow-wave hair
•    knowledge of hair and skin types, and how they react to chemicals such as colouring products
•    shave and trim beards and moustaches
•    sell haircare products and products for hair and scalp problems
•    clean and sanitise equipment and their work area
•    promote their services on social media 
•    Recommend hairstyles and nail colors to match clients’ needs and personal style
•    Apply makeup products
•    waxes, bleaches, shapes, shaves, or trims facial hair. Colors, highlights, or perms hair according to clients wishes.
•    Ability to provide personalized services based on each client’s requirements
•    Provide guidelines to clients on how to take care of their skin
•    Book appointments over the phone and serve walk-ins based on availability
•    Maintain updated client records (e.g. contact details and treatments)
•    Cross-sell therapies and beauty products, when relevant
•    Make sure our working area is clean and equipment is sterilized at all times
•    Keep track of levels of stock (e.g lotions and nail polishes)
•    knowledge of health and hygiene regulations
•    creative and artistic skills
•    basic maths skills bookkeeping and management skills.
