Join a growing, cross functional team developing and maintaining C++ back-end services within a large and complex domain
IMMEDIATE START!!

We have a 12-month contract opportunity available for a Senior C++ Developer to join our Christchurch based clients. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within this cross functional team working on internal products and partner facing functionality. 


This is an on-site Christchurch based opportunity, we will NOT be considering remote or hybrid candidates for this position.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work across a mix of backend services and UI‑related tasks, contributing to a platform that uses C++, Angular, and Android technologies.
  • Operate within a Linux-based development environment and support integrations with internal systems and message‑based services.
  • Collaborate daily with developers and testers to deliver BAU enhancements, partner-facing features, and cross-team technical needs.
  • Participate in component development, debugging, testing cycles, and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Engage in a significant domain learning period to understand the technical environment and workflows.
  

ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will be comfortable joining a small but tight knit team who value working collaboratively and creating a social environment. They’ll be able to adapt to changing requirements and pivot as necessary. They will have a problem-solving mindset and be able to contribute, innovate and deliver industry-leading solutions. Being a strong written & oral communicator will be fundamental in this role.


SKILL SET:
  • Strong experience C++ development, ideally with back-end services.
  • Front-end technology exposure e.g Angular and Android (Java/Kotlin).
  • Comfortability working within a Linux environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Willingness to learn a complex technical domain is essential.
  • API and cross-functional development experience is advtangeous.
