About the role

We are looking for Vehicle Painters to join our team.

We value people who are organized, reliable, and take pride in their quality workmanship. 

To ensure all panel beating duties are performed in a effective and timely manner according to daily targets/requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle painting and refinishing to a high standard

  • Prepare surfaces including sanding, masking, and priming

  • Complete work efficiently to meet daily production KPIs

  • Ensure consistent quality workmanship to minimise rework

  • Accurately record materials used and labour for each job

  • Maintain a safe and tidy spray booth and work environment in line with Health & Safety requirements

  • Handle hazardous substances and PPE in accordance with safety guidelines

  • Report any damage, incidents, or hazards promptly

  • Follow company procedures and participate in toolbox meetings

 

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Vehicle Painting and Refinishing

  • Skilled in surface preparation, colour matching, spray painting, and finishing

  • Competent in masking, priming, and refitting of parts and accessories

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team

  • A strong focus on Health & Safety practices

  • A current NZ driver’s licence

  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa

Hours of Work

  • 45 hours per week (30 hours guaranteed), from Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm.

  • An employee may be required to work on weekend and up to 52 hours per week. 

  • We offer a competitive hourly rate, negotiable depending on your skills and experience.
