NAIL TECHNICIAN


Our salon was founded on the idea of delivering massage and beauty services to clients in Christchurch, New Zealand. Driven by growing business, we are now looking for 05 qualified and experienced members to take the Nail Technician role and join our successful team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients'nails) and spa pedicures (treat clients' feet and toenails) based on accurate assessment of clients’ nails.
  • Carry out acrylic nails, gel nails, builder gel nails, UV gel, nail extension, nail repair, and other specialized hand and foot treatments.
  • Dipping powder on clients’ real nails and dipping powder with tip (extension).
  • Decorate and design on clients’ nails (nail arts)
  • Massage clients' hands and feet
  • Refer clients to health professional regarding nails diseases and problems
  • Provide advice on beauty care and relevant treatments
  • Arrange appointments and keep clients’ data
  • Communicate to reach clients’ need, ensure clients’ satisfactions
  • Provide appropriate training to new staff
  • Work in a multicultural workplace

Qualified person needs to:

  • Have at least 2 years of nail technician experience OR a NZQF qualification level 4 or higher relevant to the nail and beauty sector.
  • Properly use chemicals for nail treatment (training provided)
  • Team working skills and customer service
  • May work on weekends and public holidays
  • Applicant must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Pay rate: $30 per hour
Hours of work: at least 30 hours per week
