We are a linen hire and Industrial laundry facility servicing accommodation and hospitality clients throughout the Southern Lakes region. Our commercial  laundry with high tech industrial laundry processing equipment produces high quality linen to our clients every day of the year.
We are looking for a professional, solution focused Assistant Manager who works well under pressure to manage the operations of the laundry.

As 2IC and reporting directly to the General Manager, your job responsibilities will include:

 

·       Develop positive relationships with clients and suppliers.

  •        Budgets, planning and cost control
  •   Set objectives & procedures by establishing team work, team spirit and emphasising the importance of training for all team members

·       Plan and implement training schedules as required

·       Personal commitment and ability to motivate to develop good co-operation within the team

·       Adherence to the work schedules, division of employees’ time and holiday planning.

·       Maintain open channels of communication with the owners.

·       Ensuring that service is provided to all clients within guidelines.

·       Managing rosters – tracking productivity.

·       Conduct & co-ordinate appraisals. 

  •      Promoter of safe work practices, as well as training and compliance to industry standards and regulations.

    To be considered for this role you must have at least 3 years' of relevant  / transferable experience in a similar environment. This is a full-time position, guaranteeing 30 hours a week, that requires flexibility with your working schedule as we operate 7 days, weekends may be required.
