Kiwi Horticulture Management Limited operates horticulture and orchard management services across the Bay of Plenty region and requires a Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day site operations. This role is essential to coordinate orchard activities, manage staff and contractors, ensure productivity, and maintain health and safety and quality standards across assigned sites.

Position Title: Site Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour 
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • 2 years of experience Or Level 4 Qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily orchard and site operations across designated blocks.
  • Coordinate staff, labour teams, and contractors to meet production targets.
  • Monitor work quality, productivity, and site performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain site records, reports, and activity logs.
  • Support planning and execution of seasonal orchard programmes.
  • Oversee safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Liaise with management regarding progress, staffing, and resource needs.
  • Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and safety across sites.
