Horticulture Post-Harvest Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Horticulture Post-Harvest Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing post-harvest operations, ensuring product quality, and managing sorting, packing, and storage processes in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper handling and separation of different wood breeds and agricultural products

  • Supervise packaging of agricultural products for shipment or further processing

  • Measure and record physical characteristics of forestry and agricultural produce

  • Sort forestry and agricultural materials according to quality standards

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock data

  • Evaluate the quality of plants, crops, and harvested materials

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 driving licence

  • Forklift endorsement

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Relevant qualifications or 2 years supervisory experiencePost-Harvest

Work Conditions

  • Weekend work will be required

  • Availability for public holidays

  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

  • Competitive pay based on experience - $25 per hour to $35 per hour
