We are seeking a skilled Poultry Butcher to join our team. The role involves skilled meat cutting, boning, and carcass breakdown work performed within a production line environment.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Breaking down whole chicken carcasses into standard cuts on a production line 

  • Performing boning and deboning using professional meat cutting tools 

  • Cutting poultry into retail and processing portions including breasts, thighs, wings, and drumsticks 

  • Trimming meat to meet quality, weight, and specification requirements 

  • Maintaining accurate portion control during production work 

  • Identifying and removing non-conforming or defective products 

  • Working in accordance with production specifications and food safety standards 

  • Supporting other team members by providing guidance on correct cutting and deboning techniques 

  • Assisting in maintaining efficient workflow on the production line 

  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, and workplace safety requirements

Skills and Experience Required - Applicants must have:

  • At least two years relevant working experiences

  • High level of manual knife proficiency and carcass breakdown knowledge 

  • Ability to work independently without step-by-step supervision

  • Capability to apply technical judgement in cutting and boning decisions

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards deeply
