Job Description:
We are an Auckland-based construction company with strong ties to Asian property developers, primarily serving a broad Asian client base. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Tasks include:

Coordinating and supervising day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with plans, specifications, and timelines

Monitoring the performance of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed to required quality standards

Assisting in planning and scheduling of work activities in consultation with the project manager

Inspecting ongoing work to ensure compliance with building codes, project specifications, and company standards

Identifying and reporting any construction issues, delays, or risks, and assisting in implementing practical solutions

Ensuring adherence to New Zealand health and safety regulations and promoting safe work practices on site

Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to support smooth site operations

Checking materials and work progress to ensure efficient use of resources

Maintaining basic site records, progress updates, and reporting to management

Providing guidance and direction to workers on-site to ensure tasks are performed correctly and efficiently
Job pre-requisites:

A minimum of 3 years’ relevant management experience, preferably within the property development or construction industry.

Alternatively, applicants with a bachelor’s degree or higher in a management-related discipline may be considered with a minimum of 1 year of relevant full-time management experience.
