Job Description: Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established South Island
based vineyard operation and management company.

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

• Select and supervise grape seed planting
• Maintain grape production by cultivating, de-budding and pruning, and controlling
and maintaining optimal growing conditions
• Plan, organize, control and supervise vineyard operations to grow wine grapes
• Organize and conduct vineyard operations, such as collecting, storing, grading and
packaging produce, and organizing the sale, purchase and dispatch of produce
• Direct and oversee general vineyard activities such as fertilizing and pest and weed
control
• Plan, organize, control and supervise the process of producing wine to ensure
excellent quality wines
• Ensure vineyard buildings, fences, equipment and water supply systems are in good
condition
• Maintain and evaluate records of vineyard activities
• Monitor market activity, and plan wine grape preparation and wine production to meet contract requirements and market demand
• Manage business finance
• Commitment and compliance to Health & Safety
• Identifying and reporting hazards

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• At least 2 years of relevant experience working; OR
• Certificate Level 4 in any major
• AND Be Physically Fit
