A high-impact B2B sales role combining new business hunting with long-term account growth and commercial problem-solving across the South Island.

This is for a self-driven operator who thrives on owning a territory, getting in front of customers, and turning relationships into revenue. You’ll be trusted with real autonomy, real responsibility, and real results.

You’ll join a well-established packaging business with strong market presence, working across manufacturing, processing, warehousing, and primary industries.

Why This Role

  • Take ownership of a South Island territory and build it your way

  • Christchurch-based field role where you’re out with customers, not stuck in an office

  • Established customer base ready for growth – your job is to take it further

  • Join a strong, established packaging business with real momentum in the market

  • High-energy team that values drive, performance, and straight-up results

  • Strong earning potential – base + commission + performance incentives

  • Company vehicle provided + all work expenses covered

  • Ongoing training and real pathways to step up as you grow

  • Culture built on ownership, accountability, and getting things done

What You’ll Do

  • Hunt and win new business across the South Island

  • Build, grow, and retain long-term existing customer relationships

  • Spend time in-market with customers—understanding operations and solving real problems

  • Take full ownership of your territory and pipeline

  • Use CRM, Excel, and reporting tools to manage activity, pipeline, and follow-through

  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver outcomes for customers

  • Travel visiting customers across the South Island (with occasional Auckland travel)

  • Be active in both industry networking and team events (we want someone who enjoys being part of a social team culture)

Customers range from growers and processors to warehouse and operations managers—you’ll need credibility, pace, and strong commercial instinct.

What You Bring

  • Proven success in a BDM / hunter sales role, with strength in both new business and account growth

  • Experience in selling packaging, labels, print, industrial consumables, or distribution-led B2B environments

  • Strong commercial thinking with an understanding of margin, value, and profitable growth

  • Confident using CRM systems, Excel, and sales tools to manage pipeline and performance

  • Strong relationship skills across operational and senior stakeholders

  • High energy, resilience, and consistency in a field-based role

  • Strong follow-through and personal accountability

You’re likely already working in a distribution or industrial sales environment supplying manufacturing, warehousing, or production customers—and understand the pace and expectations that come with that.
