About the Role:

You'll be working in a fast-paced meat processing environment, including:

  • Knife hand and/or bandsaw operations within production lines
  • Working in a chilled environment (approx. 5°C)
  • Handling repetitive processing and cutting tasks
  • Manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
  • Working collaboratively within a team-based production setting
  • Following strict health & safety and hygiene procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in meat processing or knife hand/bandsaw roles (preferred)
  • Physically fit and comfortable with cold environments
  • Strong communication and team player attitude
  • Reliable with good attendance and commitment to rostered shifts
  • Flexible to work weekends and rotating shifts

Requirements:

  • Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
  • Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check required
  • Dexterity testing required
  • Must have legal right to work in New Zealand
  • Physically capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
