About the Role:
You'll be working in a fast-paced meat processing environment, including:
- Knife hand and/or bandsaw operations within production lines
- Working in a chilled environment (approx. 5°C)
- Handling repetitive processing and cutting tasks
- Manual handling and lifting up to 15kg
- Working collaboratively within a team-based production setting
- Following strict health & safety and hygiene procedures
This is a physically demanding role with consistent workflow and training provided onsite.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in meat processing or knife hand/bandsaw roles (preferred)
- Physically fit and comfortable with cold environments
- Strong communication and team player attitude
- Reliable with good attendance and commitment to rostered shifts
- Flexible to work weekends and rotating shifts
- Own transport and valid NZ driver's license
Requirements:
- Must pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check required
- Dexterity testing required
- Must have legal right to work in New Zealand
- Physically capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
- Reliable Transport and valid NZ driver's license
