The company is looking to hire 4 Painters to keep up with their work demand.  The painter positions will be full-time permanent, work hours will be between 30 to 40 hours per week, work will be between Monday to Friday.  Depending on project you may also need to work in the weekend but we will notify you in advance.  The hourly pay rate is ranging from NZD 28 - 30.  The core tasks of the painter role are below:

Duties

• Preparing painting surfaces
• Mixing, matching, and applying paints
• Providing decorative and faux finishes
• Making on-site preparations
• Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures
• Cleaning equipment and work areas
• Travel between different work sites
• Communicating with clients, painters and relevant professionals to ensure project is delivered on time

Successful applicants shall meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Be punctual and nicely presented
• Eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Be trustworthy and self-motivated
• Solid knowledge of commercial, residential, and/or construction preparation and painting techniques
• Respect and maintain the company tools
• Airless spray and paper hanging experience is an advantage
• Friendly attitude with a good character
• Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
