We are looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include transporting goods to various locations, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring cargo is loaded and secured properly

Responsibilities include:

•             A valid clean truck driving license  

•             Ancillary duties, including loading and unloading of any goods

•             Ensure goods are stored securely in the vehicle to avoid loss and damage

•             Complete all required delivery paperwork

•             Meet delivery timeframes

•             Maintain a professional standard as you need to deal with customers

•             Be a team player and show initiative

•             Be reliable and punctual

•             You should carry out routine checks of your vehicle 

•             Ensuring the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition

•             Attending to daily checking of the vehicle including oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety concerns and equipment security, WOF, Registration and etc

•             Knowledge of emergency procedures and how to handle hazard conditions

•             Any other duties as assigned by the Manager from time to time

 

The ideal candidate must:

•             Hold truck driving license

•             Atleast few months of truck driving work experience

•             Truck driving work experience in NZ is an advantage

•             Available to work outside your usual hours when required

•             Willing to do broken shifts as and when required

•             On call basis willing to work on the weekends

•             A high degree of physical fitness and ability to lift heavy weight with loading and unloading

•             Willing to undertake extensive work with pallet jack

•             Need to hold dangerous goods (DG) license and forklift license

•             Transport is an essential service, so the applicant must be prepared to work during any lockdown levels and comply with the guidelines of Ministry of Health for safety to everyone.

•             Undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as a prerequisite to obtaining employment.

•             Also willing to undergo random drug test during work hours regularly every month by the contractor

•             Have a clear criminal record - Police Check for criminal conviction for employment
