Kirimana Consultants is recruiting for Metal Fitters to join our team on a range of exciting projects across Bay of Plenty.
We have multiple positions available for reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to work alongside our experienced tradesmen.

Minimum Experience Required:
At least 3 years of experience or a trade qualification (or higher) in a similar role as an aluminium fabricator or installer. You must be able to provide references to support your work history.
Pay & Conditions:
Hourly rate: $25 – $30 (waged)
Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on project requirements
Workdays: Monday to Saturday
Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Tasman, Southland, Marlborough and West Coast.
For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.

In this role, you will be expected to:
- Install, assemble, and align unistrut framing systems, brackets, and supports for electrical and mechanical services.
- Fit, secure, and level cable tray, duct, and metal or plastic containment systems in line with drawings and site layouts.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials such as mild steel, aluminium, or PVC for installation.
- Interpret technical drawings and plans to determine installation methods and measurements.
- Operate hand and power tools safely for cutting, drilling, grinding, and fixing metal systems
- Work with anchors, fixings, threaded rod, and fasteners to build and support service frameworks.
- Assist in marking out and setting out systems prior to installation.
- Collaborate with other trades (electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers) to coordinate service routes and support structures.
- Attach or fix decorative or functional accessories to products
- Identify and report any material shortages, safety hazards, or technical issues to the site supervisor.
