MAHI GROUP NZ LIMITED recently purchased Pizza Hut Invercargill, delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service in line with Pizza Hut brand standards. Due to ongoing operational requirements, we are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our store.
About the Role
The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores, including the rostering, training, and coaching of team members, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating business strategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports and monitoring inventory levels on new stock. This role is ideal for a passionate, hard-working individual, with a commitment to high standards and an interest in learning and developing their skills in our organisation.
Ideal candidates should have at least one year of relevant work experience in the fast-food industry and/or a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above. This is a full-time permanent position currently located at our Pizza Hut Invercargill. Minimum working hours of 40 per week. Wage rate will range between $30 to $35 per hour depending on prior experience and/or qualification
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient service delivery.

Develop and implement effective customer service procedures and standards.

Monitor staff performance and provide training and support to ensure service excellence.

Manage rostering, labour costs, and staff scheduling to maintain productivity.

Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, and supplier coordination.

Handle and resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.

Maintain compliance with company policies, brand standards, and New Zealand food safety and hygiene regulations.

Monitor store sales performance, prepare reports, and support budgeting and cost control activities.

Ensure store cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet required standards.

Support marketing, local promotions, and community engagement activities.

Recruit, train, and supervise team members to build a strong and motivated workforce.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a management or supervisory role (fast food, hospitality, or retail preferred), or

Relevant qualification at Level 4 or above

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
