Job Title: Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Location: Auckland
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay Rate: $30–$35 per hour (depending on experience)                                                                    

Days of Work: Monday to Friday between 10:00AM to 7:00PM (flexibility to work on weekends when required)

Hours Per Week: Minimum 30 hours work per week

 


About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and people-focused Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role that blends marketing execution with client relationship management, business development support, and industry engagement.

You’ll play a key role in supporting digital marketing initiatives while also acting as a primary point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships, and contributing to business growth within the fitness industry.


Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management & Sales Support

  • Act as a key point of contact for business clients, including gyms, studios, and commercial buyers (via phone, email, and in-person visits)
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular check-ins
  • Coordinate with clients on product updates, new arrivals, and promotional opportunities
  • Conduct after-sales follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and tailored equipment solutions
  • Meet clients on-site or in the showroom to understand their needs
  • Support the sales team during client meetings and product demonstrations
  • Represent the company at industry events, expos, and networking opportunities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fitness sector

Marketing & Digital Coordination

  • Maintain and update product listings on the company website
  • Optimise product content, including descriptions, images, and SEO
  • Monitor website performance and support conversion improvements
  • Develop engaging social media content showcasing products, installations, and success stories
  • Create marketing content that highlights real-world business use cases (e.g., gym fit-outs, studio setups)
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches
  • Coordinate email marketing and customer communications
  • Identify market opportunities and advise on the development, coordination, and implementation of pricing and promotional strategies for the organisation’s goods and services

Key Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or client relationship roles
  • A bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in face-to-face interactions
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WordPress) and digital marketing tools preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across marketing and client coordination
