Kirimana Consultants is seeking skilled Electrical Trade Assistants to join our team on a range of exciting projects across West Coast.
We have multiple positions available for reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individuals to work alongside our experienced tradesmen.
In this role, you will be expected to:
  
  • Manufacture brackets based on engineering direction, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and legislation
  • Fabricate and install cable trays and supports as needed
  • Install cables in accordance with good electrical practices
  • Install equipment following engineering best practice
  • Work under supervisor guidance to meet time, cost, and quality requirements
  • Monitor work progress and report delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor
  • Perform other related tasks as reasonably required
  
We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. You’ll need to communicate effectively with your supervisor, take ownership of your responsibilities, and contribute positively to the team environment.
  
Minimum Experience Required:
At least 2 years’ experience or a trade qualification (or higher) in a similar role involving electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance. You must be able to provide references to support your work history.
  
Pay & Conditions:
  • Hourly rate: $25 – $30 (waged)
  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on the project stage
  • Workdays: Monday to Saturday
Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Marlborough, Tasman and West Coast.
