About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our team in Queenstown. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-end residential and commercial projects across the stunning Wakatipu Basin, providing essential support to skilled trades in a fast-paced construction environment. You will be a vital part of our site crew, ensuring projects stay on schedule and sites are maintained to a premium standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Site Preparation & Maintenance: Clearing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring a safe, tidy workspace at all times.
  • Trade Support: Assisting carpenters, bricklayers, and other tradespeople with heavy lifting, tool handling, and basic assembly tasks.
  • Material Management: Loading and unloading deliveries, and moving heavy construction materials safely across varied terrain.
  • Equipment Operation: Using basic power tools and machinery (such as drills, grinders, or compactors) under supervision.
  • Concrete & Foundations: Assisting with concrete pours, boxing, and site leveling.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, particularly in challenging alpine weather conditions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience: At least 6–12 months of experience on a construction site or in a physically demanding manual role.
  • Physical Fitness: Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the day in an outdoor environment.
  • Reliability: A "turn-up-on-time" attitude and a strong work ethic—our team relies on you to keep the site moving.
  • Communication: Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a large site crew.
  • Safety Conscious: A solid understanding of site safety; a valid Site Safe card is highly regarded.
  • Logistics: A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation to get to various sites around Queenstown.
