Earn $50 to $60/hr as an electrician in WA plus up to $10k in WA Government relocation grants. Vehicle provided and stable long-term work.
Why Apply

Plenty of Australian electrical roles will pay you well but keep you away from home for weeks at a time. This one is different. You are home every night, working Monday to Friday, and based across three of the most liveable coastal towns in regional WA.

This is a stable, long-term electrician role covering residential and commercial installations, projects, maintenance, and breakdowns across Bunbury, Mandurah, and Busselton. No mines, no FIFO, no long stints away from family.
  • Earn $50 to $60 per hour plus super depending on experience
  • Company vehicle provided
  • Home every night — no FIFO, no camps, no time away from family
  • Monday to Friday with consistent hours — 6:30am to 3:00pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • On-call only approximately once per month — minimal disruption to your personal time
  • Coastal regional WA lifestyle — Bunbury, Mandurah, and Busselton are relaxed, affordable, and easy places to settle with a family
  • Variety of work across residential and commercial installs, maintenance, and breakdowns
  • Long-term, stable opportunity with a well-regarded local company
  • Eligible for the WA Government's Build a Life in WA incentive — up to $10,000 in relocation payments paid in two milestones ($5,000 on starting, $5,000 after six months) for eligible NZ candidates relocating to WA
The Role

You will be working across Bunbury, Mandurah, and Busselton on a mix of residential and commercial electrical work. This is an autonomous role — you will be running jobs independently and liaising directly with clients on site. David needs people who can represent the company well and get on with the work without needing to be managed.
Day to day you will be across:
  • Residential and commercial electrical installations
  • Maintenance and breakdown work across the region
  • Commercial and residential projects from start to finish
  • Solar PV and battery installs — experience here is a strong bonus
  • Direct client communication and liaison on site
  • Delivering high quality workmanship on every job
What We Need
  • Current WA Electrical Licence or NZ equivalent — WA licence takes approximately 10 working days to obtain on arrival
  • Current driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs on site
  • Strong client communication skills — you are the face of the company on every job
  • High workmanship standards and genuine pride in your work
  • Genuine interest in settling long-term in regional WA — this is a lifestyle role, not a stepping stone
Why This Role

At $50 to $60 per hour with a company vehicle, Monday to Friday hours, and a coastal regional lifestyle, this is a rare combination in the electrical trade. You are earning well, home every night, and living somewhere most people only visit on holiday. For a Kiwi sparky who wants stability, good money, and a proper life outside of work, this one is hard to beat.
