Five Star Airconditioning & Ventilation Limited is a growing, well-established business specializing in HVA industry. We are a friendly team of people dedicated in providing outstanding services and products.

We are looking for a Full-time role of an air conditioning mechanic in Auckland. Your Working hours will be a minimum of 30 hours to 40 hours from Monday to Friday (which include some weekends and public holidays, if required) as per the roaster.

 

For this role your key responsibilities are

 

·       Install, maintain and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems 

·       Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions

·       Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical and safety standards

·       Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications

·       Carry out electrical wiring, testing, and fault-finding for HVAC systems

·       Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance

·       Provide clear explanations and professional service to customers

·       Work collaboratively with team members, schedulers, and support staff

·       Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition

·       Follow all Workplace Health & Safety regulations and procedures

 

 

Key requirements

 

·       Should have 2 years of relevant work experience or have at least Level 4 or higher relevant qualification

·       Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and safety standards

·       Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

·       Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

·       Strong customer service and communication skills

·       Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented attitude

·       Clean character background

·       Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace

 

Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $29 to $35 per hour.
