Astar Education was founded by experienced IB and A-Level examiners. We craft personalized study plans to help students master international curricula, build solid academic foundations and achieve top university admission goals.
• Design and develop tailored training materials, including workshop guides, learning content, handouts and assessment tools, focusing on teaching professional development, international curriculum alignment and classroom management.
• Deliver regular professional development sessions for internal staff on recruitment processes, client service, and updates on global education trends (especially IB/A-Level) and the company’s service offerings.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and follow-up surveys, and continuously refine training programs to improve outcomes for tutors and internal teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure training content is relevant to IB/A-Level teaching etc. and meets stakeholder needs.
• Assist in updating and expanding the company’s training portfolio, including IB/A-Level teacher training and professional development programs, to support the company’s objectives of helping students enter top global universities.
• Conduct training needs analysis for team members, aligning with the company’s service objectives and client requirements to identify skill gaps.
• Support the integration of skilled tutors into diverse international curricula (IB/A-Level) by providing targeted training on curriculum alignment, teaching methodologies and student learning needs.
• Facilitate in-person or virtual training for newly recruited tutors, covering onboarding, international curriculum (IB/A-Level) essentials, teaching methodologies, cultural adaptation and compliance for tutors.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs and progress reports, ensuring compliance with the company’s internal policies and client reporting requirements.
Pay rate: minimum $30 per hour - maximum $40 per hour
Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or have a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
• Be proficient in basic tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating training materials
• Be available for full-time work
• Have no criminal record
