Classic Thai Massage Thames Limited trade as Classic Thai Massage for Health & Relaxation located in Thames.

We provide Traditional Thai Massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Coconut Oil Massage, head, neck, back, and shoulder massage, Thai foot massage, etc. We have been operating for several years.

We are looking for two experienced therapists, skilled in traditional Thai Massage, to work with our customers. We need friendly and engaging peoples who enjoy providing traditional Thai massage therapy and is keep to help us to grow the business. 

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR

  • A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR

  • The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand 

Job Descriptions 

  • Performed therapeutic massage and administered body treatments for relaxation, health, fitness and remedial purposes.

  • Massaged the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing, reduce tension and support recovery.

  • Utilised a range of massage techniques, including Thai massage techniques, to address clients’ individual needs.

  • Provided sports massage treatments to enhance sports performance, assist muscle recovery and help prevent injury.

  • Assessed clients’ physical condition, case history, areas of pain, muscle tension and stress before providing treatment.

  • Identified and treated specific soft tissue dysfunction and provided appropriate rehabilitation and aftercare advice.

  • Administered treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation, relieve muscle tension and support general wellbeing.

  • Advised clients on suitable stretching exercises, strengthening activities and relaxation techniques.

  • Guided clients through available massage services and recommended appropriate treatments based on their condition and goals.

  • Monitored clients’ responses during treatment and adjusted massage techniques, pressure and treatment approach as required.

  • Recommended future massage appointments and treatment regimes to support ongoing recovery, relaxation and maintenance.

  • Maintained accurate client records, including health history, treatment provided, client feedback and recommended follow-up care. 

Other detail

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • The wage is between $25 and $35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, with weekly payments.

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

  • You will be working at 134 Queen Street, Thames

  • We are open from Monday to Saturday 9 am – 6.30 pm

  • You will work according to a roster 5 – 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours and a maximum of 48 hours.
