CITY PRODUCE LIMITED is a well-established food processing company based in Auckland, committed to delivering high-quality products while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations.

 

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (may include shift work)
Salary: $30 – $38 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating daily production activities to ensure efficiency and productivity targets are met
  • Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and health & safety regulations
  • Managing and leading a team of production workers, including training, rostering, and performance management
  • Ensuring optimal use of raw materials, machinery, and labour resources
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
  • Coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • Maintaining accurate production records and reporting to management
  • Ensing compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience Required

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
    OR
  • A relevant Level 4 qualification or higher in food technology, production management, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods
