Nail and Beauty Technician

KSBH 89 Limited is currently seeking to recruit five Nail & Beauty Technicians to join the team. These are full-time, permanent positions based in Auckland (West City and LynnMall), with guaranteed minimum hours of 30 per week (typically ranging from 30 to 40 hours). Work will be rostered on a shift basis from Monday to Sunday, between 9:00am and 9:00pm, to accommodate the extended trading hours of shopping malls. The remuneration for these positions ranges from NZD 28 to NZD 30 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nail and beauty treatments, including manicure, pedicure, nail extensions, eyelash services, and basic waxing, to a high professional standard;
• Ensure all treatments meet client expectations and salon quality standards;
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment and follow health and safety procedures;
• Manage appointments efficiently and maintain accurate client records;
• Deliver excellent customer service, including handling enquiries and basic reception duties when required;
• Promote salon services and products and support business growth;
• Work as part of a team to maintain smooth daily operations and achieve performance targets

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Technician, Beauty Therapist, or similar role;
• A relevant qualification in nail technology, beauty therapy, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory;
• Good knowledge of nail and beauty treatments, hygiene practices, and customer care;
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team;
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
