RESHU'S BEAUTY LIMITED T/A RESHU'S BEAUTY & NAILS is looking for a motivated Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nail and beauty salon. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while driving business performance.

Position: Salon Manager

Hourly rate: $35-$36 per hour

Guaranteed hours: 30 per week

Maximum hours: 55 per week

Location: Auckland

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery 
  • Manage staff rostering, attendance, and payroll coordination 
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of nail artist and beauty therapist  
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and implement ongoing training and development 
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and salon presentation 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations 
  • Handle escalated client enquiries and complaints professionally 
  • Manage appointment scheduling systems and client records 
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, product usage, and inventory control 
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers and ensure the requested order arrives on time.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and ensure accurate inventory reporting 
  • Oversee daily cash handling, banking, and financial reconciliation 
  • Structure the budgeting and monitoring salon financial performance 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, promotions, and loyalty programs 
  • Drive client engagement, retention, and referral initiatives 
  • Coordinate with team on sales targets and operational improvements 
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue 
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safety of salon equipment and facilities 
  • Support business growth initiatives such as new services or salon expansion
  • Research new trends on beauty and nail services and discuss with the team
  • Restructure pricing where and when required. 
  • Create Special offers and design marketing strategies based on the trend and season to increase overall business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 Years of relevant experience required to work as a manager. 
  • However, a Diploma can substitute the relevant work experience requirement. 
  • Good leadership and team management skills
  • Basic communication skills 
  • Ability to handle client issues and build lasting relationships 
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the salon industry
