We are seeking hard‑working, enthusiastic, and qualified Pipe Layers / Drainers / Civil labourers to join one of our close‑knit crews. You will be involved in trenching, pit excavation, pipe installation, and general civil works across a variety of projects throughout Canterbury. Prior experience in the civil or pipeline industry is preferred.

We are seeking hard‑working, enthusiastic, and qualified Pipe Layers / Drainers / Civil labourers to join one of our close‑knit crews. You will be involved in trenching, pit excavation, pipe installation, and general civil works across a variety of projects throughout Canterbury. Prior experience in the civil or pipeline industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse survey reports, plans, drawings, and project data to support work planning
- Review project requirements to determine appropriate methods, materials, and sequencing
- Estimate quantities of materials, equipment, and labour
- Install pipelines, including excavation, bedding, pipe laying, appurtenances, backfilling, and site reinstatement
- Install trench support systems where required
- Work safely and efficiently around existing services
- Contribute positively to a high‑performing crew environment
- Full NZ Driver Licence WTR
- Class 4 licence advantageous
- Pipe Layer / Plumber / Drainer qualification (CCC‑approved preferred but not limited)
- Crew leadership experience is beneficial
- Competent excavator operator
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
Work is typically based throughout the Canterbury region.
