You will be working on commercial and industrial construction sites across Sydney, supporting tower crane operations as part of a high-standards team. This is hands-on rigging work in a safety-critical environment where attention to detail and commitment to process are non-negotiable.
Day to day you will be across:
- Rigging and unrigging loads for tower crane lifting operations on construction sites
- Assisting with tower crane installations, commissioning, and dismantles
- Interpreting and applying lift plans and load charts to ensure safe operations
- Inspecting and selecting appropriate lifting gear including slings, shackles, chains, and spreader bars
- Directing crane operators using standard signals during lifts
- Conducting pre-use inspections of all rigging equipment and removing non-compliant gear from service
- Completing lift plans, inspection records, and daily pre-start documentation
- Working collaboratively with crane technicians, operators, and site supervisors
- Current Rigging Licence — Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced, non-negotiable
- Proven structural steel rigging experience on commercial or industrial construction sites
- Experience working with or around tower cranes is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with crane signals, load charts, and lift planning
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance on every job
- Genuine willingness to relocate to Sydney long-term
