YODHA CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is engaged in residential and commercial construction projects across Auckland. The company specialises in delivering high-quality structural and finishing carpentry work, ensuring compliance with New Zealand building standards and client specifications. We are seeking qualified carpenters to join a well-established team delivering high-quality work. 

Key Duties

  • Read and follow basic construction drawings and instructions
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as timber, plywood, and wallboard
  • Assist in building wall frames, ceilings, floors, and simple structures
  • Install doors, windows, and basic fittings like hinges and handles
  • Carry out repairs and replace damaged wooden parts
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite

Skills and Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry and construction work
  • Ability to use tools and follow instructions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to work on-site
  • Reliable and able to work in a team

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years of relevant carpentry or construction experience, or
  • Any relevant trade qualification (preferred but not mandatory)

Health & Safety

  • Follow all site safety requirements in line with WorkSafe New Zealand
  • Wear PPE and follow supervisor instructions at all times
