About Us:
We are an Auckland‑based company that primarily promotes and sells consumer products through social media platforms, with a strong focus on serving Chinese communities in New Zealand. We also operate an education business offering dance, music, and instrument classes. Due to continued business growth, we are now seeking a dedicated Marketing Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns across social media platforms (WeChat, Rednote), and other relevant online platforms to promote Mamabuy’s products and classes.
• Manage official social media accounts, including content planning, posting schedules, audience engagement, and follower growth.
• Advise the management team on marketing strategies to reach target audiences and support sales goals.
• Coordinate the production of marketing content, including visuals, ad copy, and media placement within time and budget constraints.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse consumer behaviour and preferences, and optimise for better ROI.
• Research current market trends and predict future demand to guide campaign and product strategy.
• Support new product launches and new course offerings with targeted promotional campaigns, including pricing and promotional strategies.
• Manage marketing tools and platforms, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, instructors, and external partners to promote classes, events, and performances.
• Assist with brand building and community engagement activities to strengthen Mamabuy’s presence within the local community.
• Manage external performance collaborations and partnerships; plan, coordinate, and oversee various performances, artistic events, and commercial activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyse business and marketing data and translate insights into practical strategies.
• Strong organisational, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and Korean is an advantage.
The employee will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and must be available to work on weekends. The hourly rate ranges from $32 to $35. Candidates must have legal working rights in New Zealand. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
