Service Technician – Agricultural Equipment

Superstaff is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a nationwide company specialising in the sales and servicing of agricultural equipment across New Zealand.
While experience with agricultural machinery is ideal, candidates with strong mechanical backgrounds in other engine types are encouraged to apply, as training can be provided.
About the role
This is a field-based position where you’ll be travelling across the region to service and repair a range of farm machinery and vehicles. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and delivering high-quality service to clients. No two days are the same.
What you’ll need
A trade qualification is preferred, along with previous field service experience. You’ll have solid mechanical knowledge across engines, drivelines, hydraulics, and electronics, as well as strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
You should also have an understanding of LTSA regulations and safety standards, be physically fit to work on large machinery, and possess good communication and customer service skills. Basic computer literacy is required.
