ExtraStaff is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician for a hands-on role based on a large industrial site in South Auckland.


 

About the Role:

 

  • HVAC servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding
  • Working on chillers, AHUs, and ventilation systems
  • Planned maintenance + breakdown response
  • Mechanical & electrical diagnostics and repairs 
  • Supporting upgrades and commissioning
  • On-call roster participation


 
 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Proven HVAC experience (essential)
  • EWRB EST practising licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Refrigerant Fillers Licence (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong fault-finding ability 
  • Physically fit and comfortable in an industrial environment 
  • Full driver’s licence
  • Site Safe Certificate 


 



 

 

Requirements:
 

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  • Reliable and safety-focused 
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
