Join our team at Perfect Building Ltd, a well-established construction company experiencing rapid growth. As part of our expansion, we are seeking five Carpenters to join our workforce.

​​Job Description

• Reporting to the site manager or other senior managers as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project.
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (eg. fiberglass) according to measurements.
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Install hardwood doors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation.
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines.
• Ensuring that requirements, as specified by the client and senior management, are met.
• Any other tasks that are reasonably requested by the employer from time to time.

• Location: Auckland
• Job type: Full-time Permanent
• Vacancy: 8 positions
• Hourly rate: $28 - $35
• Hours per week: 30 - 50 hours

Job Requirement

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in construction, or a level 4 or above qualification is required.
• Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts arranged by the company.
• Able to work in cold or dusty conditions, indoor and outdoor.
• Long-term and full commitments are required.
