We are looking for an experienced IWS Process Lead to join our team based in Papakura, Auckland.

This is a permanent full-time role, with 40 hours per week.

IWS (Intersnack Working System) provides a fully integrated approach to optimise our Supply Chains. IWS is a major investment for all Intersnack plants; it is not a project, it is a long term culture change and methodology – the Intersnack way of working.

IWS focuses on reducing losses through the supply chain; it establishes the best way to do something; and then we repeat it eliminating variation and waste. IWS gives more decision-making power and autonomy to those closest to the line, increasing employee engagement and allows our people to have ongoing development.

The Process Lead is responsible for development of the operating teams’ technical understanding and mastery of process control. They own the integrity of the MES System and are responsible for data analytics of line losses. They also act as the team’s expert in troubleshooting / problem solving.

What you’ll be responsible for:
•Analysing machine data for the identification and elimination of losses
•Use data and analytics to identify trends and performance gaps, creating actionable recommendations
•Prioritising losses with the area team and developing action plans and decide on actions with wider team

•Participating in the daily DDS to prioritise and address losses for the next 24 hours, report on the results of the last 24 hours and agreeing on actions to identify and eliminate root causes
•Responsible for the data quality in their area
•Supporting the site loss analysis with area loss data and knowledge
•Responsible for the Centrelines Management System, Changeover DMS and Change Management SWP for the line(s)
•During absence of the Line Lead, the Process Lead takes over the Lead of the DDS and daily management of the Line Leads DMS’s and priority settinng.

What you’ll bring to the role?
•Bachelor degree, majored in Science, Food Technology or Engineering or similar
•Proven industry experience training and coaching (2 years minimum) – you enjoy sharing your knowledge and leading from the front!
•A passion for learning and applying new technologies to real-world challenges
•Innovative and creative mindset – you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo and throw new ideas into the mix
•Continuous improvement experience preferred (extra tick if this is within food manufacturing)
•Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and demonstrate an openness to change and try new things
•Strong interpersonal relationship building and collaborating skills, with ability to coach where required
•Analytical skills, demonstrating your ability to understand and prioritize losses
•Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
•Proven experience in successful and efficient problem solving
