Home Planet Nz Limited seeks a results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead in-store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales, mentor team members, manage end-to-end transactions, and promote tailored furniture and finance solutions. The role requires strong leadership, customer engagement, and target achievement in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates bring New Zealand managerial experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in converting leads and maximising revenue.

Key Responsibilities

·         Drive in-store sales and consistently achieve revenue targets

·         Lead and support sales team members to improve performance and customer experience

·         Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions

·         Promote and assist customers with finance options (e.g., instalment plans)

·         Manage end-to-end sales process, including quotations, invoicing, and follow-ups

·         Maintain showroom presentation and ensure stock availability

·         Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service professionally

·         Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely deliveries

·         Monitor sales performance and contribute to store-level strategy

Requirements

·         Minimum Level 5 qualification or higher in Business, Sales, or a related field

·         At least 2 years of New Zealand managerial experience.

·         Strong background in customer engagement, lead conversion, and upselling

·         Experience working with POS systems and CRM tools

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and meet sales targets

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Experience in financing/EMI solutions or high-value product sales is highly preferred
